Garden Pizza

Today is Pizza Friday! I thought it might be the perfect time to introduce a new pizza recipe. This is one of our favourite types of pizza to make. It’s a pizza popular in Pennsylvania. Having family from that area, we were fortunate enough to be introduced to it. It’s simple, slightly healthy (with the veggies), and absolutely delicious. I hope you enjoy it just as much as we do.
Ingredients
Base:
– Ranch dressing (Make from a package, adding 1 cup Mayonnaise, and 1/2 cup Milk)
Toppings:
– Cheddar Cheese
– Broccoli
– Cauliflower
We make our own dough (with the help of a bread maker), which makes enough for 2 pizzas. We usually freeze half the dough for the next week. I’ve found the ranch dressing makes enough for 2-3 pizzas, depending how generous you are with the sauce. I like to use our manual food processor to chop up the broccoli and cauliflower, but you may do whatever you find is easiest.
Once your dough is rolled out, simply spread your dressing over the entirety of the pizza, top with cheddar, broccoli and cauliflower. Bake in a preheated oven until bubbling (We do convection at 550F for 5min).
